Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “Shawl collar cardigan as elegant relax wear.”
And in this article, I consider about coexistence of elegance and relaxation, which seem to be contradictory elements.
・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日取り上げるのは、2019年の大晦日のカジュアルスタイリングです。この日は風もなく、最高気温が15度を超えてくる、とても過ごしやすい1日でした。実は私は年末に体調を崩してしまい、この日は病み上がりで、久しぶりに外出することにしたのです。
Today I’ll introduce a casual style for New Year’s Eve 2019. It was a lovely day, with no wind and high temperatures exceeding 15 degrees. Actually, I got sick at the end of the year, and on this day I’ve just recovered and decided to go out after a long absence.
ただ体調が回復して間もなかったので、外出とはいえ、年末用の買い出しに近くの商業施設に行く程度。よってリラックス感がありながらも上品なベージュのカシミアショールカラーカーディガンを羽織り、インナーにはブラウンのロングスリーブカットソーを着用しました。
However, since I was just getting better, I went to a nearby commercial facility for a year-end shopping. So I wore relaxed yet elegant beige cashmere shawl collar cardigan and a brown long sleeve cut-sew on the inner.
また、パンツにはホワイトカラーのコットンパンツを合わせ、足元には動きやすいようにベージュのスエードスニーカーを選んでいます。
In addition, I selected trousers with the white color of cotton, and the beige suede sneakers for easy walk around.
・あとがき/ Consideration
皆さんはリラックスウェアと言ったら、まずどんなアイテムを思い浮かべるでしょうか？多くの方は、体を締め付けることのないカットソーやスウェットパーカー、スウェットパンツのようなイージーウェアを思い浮かべると思います。
When I say relaxation wear, what kind of items do you think of first? I guess that many people might think of sport wear, such as cut-and-sew, sweatshirts and sweatpants, that do not tighten the body.
自分の体のサイズに沿って、熟練の職人によって仕立てられたスーツやジャケット、パンツも心地良いものですが、近くの商業施設に買い物に行く際のリラックスウェアとしては、少々大袈裟なように感じます。
The Suits, jackets and pants tailored to the size of our body by skilled craftsmen are also comfortable, but they feel a bit exaggerated as relaxing wear when shopping at nearby commercial facilities.
そのような中で、私は久しぶりに外出できることに喜びを感じていましたので、楽なスポーツウェアではなく、私の好きなスタイルである上品さを感じつつもリラックスできるアイテムとして、ショールカラーカーディガンを選びました。
In the situation, I was so glad I could go out after a long time, so I chose a shawl collar cardigan instead of easy sportswear as an item that could be relaxed while feeling the elegance that is my favorite style.
