今日は「出かける予定に合わせたスタイリングを楽しむ」と言うテーマを掲げて、「Style Book」コンテンツのドレス編の記事をお送りしたいと思います。
Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “Coordinating my attire to fit the schedule.” And in this article, I consider about the joy of dressing up.
※The definition of a dress style is a tie style in this site.
・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、12月上旬の装い。この日は晴れていて天気も良く、最高気温は14度近くまで上がりましたが、最低気温は５度と、１日の寒暖差が大きい１日でした。
I’ll introduce the attire of early December 2022. The day was sunny, so the maximum temperature rose to nearly 14 degrees Celsius. However, the minimum temperature was as cold as 5 degrees, and it was a day with a large temperature difference in one day.
この日は知り合いのアーティストの個展が東京で開催されており、訪問することにしていました。彼女は墨の濃淡のみで人物等を描く技法を得意としており、とてもモダンで、スタイリッシュな作品です。
On this day, a solo exhibition of an artist I know was being held in Tokyo, and I decided to visit it. She specializes in the technique of drawing people only in shades of ink（SUMI）, and it is a very modern and stylish work.
そんな日の装いとして私が選んだのは、グレーカラーをベースとした細かなチェック柄のジャケット。そしてホワイトシャツとブラックカラーのカシミアニットを着用し、チャコールグレーのネクタイを締めました。
In this situation, I wore a jacket with a small check pattern of gray base color. And I matched a white shirt and a black cashmere knit, a chacol gray tie.
パンツにはブラックのウールパンツを合わせ、靴にも同じブラックのセミブローグシューズを選びました。
I selected black wool trousers and black semi-brogue shoes.
・あとがき/ Consideration
私は普段、季節やその日の天候、またビジネス上の予定などを考慮して装いを選ぶようにしています。しかしこの日は墨を使ったアーティストの個展に行くと言う予定を意識して、服装を選びました。
I usually choose my attire based on the season, the weather of the day, and my business schedules. However, on this day, I chose my clothes with the intention of going to a solo exhibition of an artist who used ink(SUMI).
具体的には、黒やグレーなど、墨を意識した色合いを多用しました。私はブラックのアイテムを平日に着用する機会は滅多にありませせん。この日選んだ色合いは、墨を使った作品を見に行くと言うことに対する遊び心であり、またアーティストに対するリスペクトの表現でもありました。
Specifically, I used a lot of colors that were conscious of ink（SUMI）, such as black and gray. In particular, I rarely wear black items on weekdays. It was a playfulness about going to see works using ink(SUMI), and it was also an expression of respect for the artist.
個人的には、季節や天候はもちろんのこと、その日の予定であったり、会う人のことを想像したりしながらコーディネートを決めていくと言う行為にこそ、ファッションの楽しみがあるのではないかと考えています。
I belive that the enjoyment of fashion lies in the act of deciding on coordination while considering the schedule of the day and the people you meet, as well as taking into account the seasons and weather.
自分がその場にいることを想像しながら、また会う人の笑顔を想像しながらコーディネートを考えることは、とても楽しいものです。クラシックファッションは守るべきルールが存在しますが、それさえ守れば、着る人の感性を思う存分に発揮する楽しさがあります。
It is very fun to think about coordination while imagining yourself being there and imagining the smiles of the people you will meet again. There are rules to follow in classic fashion, but as long as you follow them, you can enjoy fully demonstrating the sensibilities.
制限があるこらこそ創意工夫が生まれ、その人の個性が現れると思いますので、是非、自分なりのクラシックファッションを楽しまれてみてください。
