私は、「装いとは編集である」と言う考え方を持っています。この「Editing」と言うカテゴリでは、その日の装い（コーディネート）を考えることを「編集」として捉え、装いのステップ・方法について解説していきたと思います。
I have the idea that “dressing is editing”. In this category of “Editing”, I think that the dressing (coordination) of the day as “editing” and explain the steps and methods of dressing.
まず、そもそも「編集」とはなんぞや！？と言うことなのですが、様々な定義がある中で個人的にしっくりきているのが、以下の説明です。

今の時代、新聞などのメディアが公平、公正な情報を発信していると信じている人は恐らくいないでしょう。例え事実は1つであったとしても、そのメディアの持っている志向（思考）や、自らのスポンサー（広告主）によって、各メディアから発信される情報の内容は大きく異なってきます。
In the present age, you probably don’t believe that media such as newspapers provide fair and impartial information. Even if there is only one fact, the content of information transmitted from each media varies greatly depending on the will (thinking) that the media has and its sponsor (advertiser).
メディアによって発信される情報の違いはどこから来ているのか、と言いますと、その最も大きな要素の1つが、そのメディアの持っている志向（思考）です。モノの見方、考え方と表現しても良いのかもしれません。
Where does the difference in the information transmitted by the media come from? One of the biggest factors is the will of the media. Perhaps it can be expressed as a way of seeing and thinking about things.
1つの事実を、そのメディアが持っている志向に基づいて情報を収集、整理、構成して、自分の意図する内容としてまとめあげて、発信をしていく。だから扱う事実が同じであったとしても、メディアによって発信される情報が異なるのです。
The infomation about facts is collected, organized, and composed based on the media’s will, and compiled into the content intended by the media and transmitted. So even if the facts are the same, the information transmitted by the each media is different.
私はある意味で、装いもこれと同じだと理解しています。
I understand that in a sense, the dressing is the same.
例えインプットされる状況（TPO）や季節、気温が同じであったとしても、その人の持っている志向によって、アウトプットされる装い（コーディネート）は人によって異なってきます。もちろん、志向だけではなく、感性や好み、スタイルと言ったことも関連してきますが、装いを大きく左右するのが、その人の持っている志向であると考えています。
Even if the input conditions such as situation (TPO), seasons, and temperature are the same, the attires (coordination) that are output differ depending on the will of the person. Of course, not only will, but also sensibility, liking, and style are related, but I think that it is the person’s will that greatly affects the attire.
