今日は「柄を楽しむ秋のレイヤードスタイル」と言うテーマを掲げて、「Style Book」コンテンツのドレス編の記事をお送りしたいと思います。
Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “Autumn layered style to enjoy the pattern”. And in this article, I consider about the way to layer patterns.
・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、11月下旬の装い。この日の東京は朝から雨が降っており、気温は最高気温が10度くらいと言う、やや肌寒い1日でした。
I’ll introduce the attire of late November. On that day, Tokyo had been raining since morning and the temperature was a bit chilly, with a maximum temperature of around 10 degrees Celsius.
このような中で、その日は外出やミーティングなどの予定はなく、社内で事務作業を行うつもりでしたので、誰かに配慮した装いをする必要はありませんでした。よって、秋らしい色や柄などを使って、秋のスタイリングを楽しむことにしました。
In such a situation, there were no plans to go out or meeting that day, and I was going to do office work in-house, so there was no need to dress someone in consideration. Therefore, I decided to enjoy the autumn styling using autumn colors and patterns.
まず私が選んだのは、ベージュがベースカラーのウール×アンゴラ素材のジャケット。このジャケットにはブラウンのグレンチェック柄に赤でオーバーペンが入り、これにブラウンベースのロンドンストライプ柄シャツとグリーンカラーのペイズリー柄ウールネクタイを締めました。また、防寒対策を兼ねて、無地のブラウンカラーのニットジレを重ねています。
I selected a wool / angola jacket with a beige base color. This jacket has a brown Glen check pattern with a red overpen, and a brown-based London striped shirt and a green-colored paisley wool tie are combined. In addition, a solid brown-colored knit gilet(vest) is layered to protect against cold.
また、パンツにはフランネルのダークブラウンカラーの無地のウールパンツを選び、足元にも同じくブラウンカラーのセミブローグを選びました。
And I chose dark brown solid wool flannel trousers and dark brown suede semi brogue shoes.
更に、ベージュカラーのカシミアストールとポリエステルのスタンドカラーダブルブレストコートをレインコートとして着ました。
In addition, I worn a polyester stand-collar double-breasted coat as raincoat with a beige-colored cashmere stall.
・あとがき/ Consideration
装いにおいて柄を美しく重ねるための方法は、とてもシンプルです。それは、重ねる柄の種類を変えることと無地のアイテムを用いること。たったこれだけです。
The method for beautifully layering the pattern in the attire is very simple. It is to choose different types of patterns and using with solid items. This is all.
今回の装いで言えば、ジャケットにはグレンチェック柄、シャツにはストライプ柄、ネクタイにはペイズリー柄と言った具合です。そして、ニットジレとパンツには無地のものを選んでいます。
In this attire, the jacket is a Glen check pattern, the shirt is a striped pattern, and the tie is a paisley pattern. And I choose plain knitted gilet and trousers.
異なる種類の柄を用いることで、目がそれらを別の物と認識します。これにより、装いに立体感や変化（動き）が生まれるのです。
By using different types of patterns, the eyes recognize them as different items. This gives a stereoscopic effect and change (movement) in the attire.
もちろん、装いを構成するのは柄だけではありません。色や素材、スタイル、シルエットなど、他にも要素はあります。ただ、装いにおいて柄を美しく重ねると言う観点では、注意すべきは上記2点だと私は考えています。
Of course, it is not just the patterns that makes up the attire. Color, material, style, silhouette, etc.There are other elements that make up attire. However, I think that the above two points should be noted from the viewpoint of beautifully overlapping the patterns in the attire.
なお、もし同じ柄を重ねたいと言う場合には、重ねる柄のサイズに注意してください。同じ柄を重ねる場合は、それぞれ異なるサイズ柄とすることで、目がチカチカしたり、ガチャガチャしたりする騒がしい印象を抑えることが出来ます。
Note that, if you want to choose the same pattern, pay attention to the size of the pattern to be chose. When overlapping the same pattern, you can reduce the noisy impression that the eyes flicker and mess up by making the patterns different in size.
