今日は「ブルゾン×タイドアップスタイリング」と言うテーマを掲げて、「Style Book」コンテンツのドレス編の記事をお送りしたいと思います。
Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “Blouson and tie combinations”. And in this article, I consider about how to dress up a sports blouson beautifully.
※The definition of a dress style is a tie style in this site.
・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、2月中旬の装い。この日は朝からよく晴れており、最高気温が12度くらい。また風もなかったのでとても気持ちの良い1日でした。
Today, I’ll introduce the attire of Mid-February. It was a very lovely day, with a maximum temperature of around 12 degrees Celsius with no wind.
私はいつもそうなのですが、季節の終盤になってきますと、どうしてもその季節の装いに飽きてくる傾向があります。2月は日本では最も気温が冷え込む月の1つですが、それと同時に春の足音も聞こえてきます。よって冬物ではなく、春ものが着たくなる日もあるのです。
I always feel so, but when it comes to the end of the season, I tend to get tired of that seasonal outfit. February is one of the coldest months in Japan, but at the same time I can find a sign of spring. Therefore, there is a day when I want to wear spring clothes instead of winter one.
この日は金曜日で社内作業を予定していました。ただ、春服を着るにはまだ気温が低い状況でしたので、冬のドレスウェアではなく、春服の代わりにカジュアルフライデーな装いを存分に楽しむことにしました。
It was a Friday and I was planning to work in the office. I wanted to wear spring clothes but unfortunately it was still cold not enough to wear them on this day. So I decided to enjoy not spring attire but winter-casual Friday one.
そんな日の装いとして私が選んだのは、グレージュカラーのG9型スエードブルゾンに、ホワイトの無地のドレスシャツとブラウンカラーのウールのニットタイ。そして、ブラウンカラーのウールのジレをインナーレイヤードしました。
In this situation, I chose a G9-type suede blouson in greige color, white plain dress shirt with a brown wool knit-tie, and layered brown wool gilet for inner.
これに、やや光沢感のあるカバートクロスで仕立てられたグレーのパンツ。足元にはダークブラウンカラーのスエードローファーを合わせました。
I also wore gray trousers made with a slightly glossy covert cloth, and dark brown suede loafers for my feet.
・あとがき/ Consideration
G9型ブルゾンとネクタイを合わせる際に注意したいことは、工事現場にいる作業者のような雰囲気が強く出てくることです。
One thing to keep in mind when matching a G9 blouson with a tie is that the atmosphere tend to become more like a worker at a construction site.
G9型ブルゾンは、もともと雨の多いイギリスにおいて、ゴルフを楽しむ際のアウターウェアとして開発されたと言う経緯があります。G9型ブルゾンはラグラン・スリーブのため動きやすく、また撥水性の高い生地を用いており、ドッグイヤー・カラーと呼ばれる襟を閉めれば防風・防寒の役割を果たします。
The G9 blouson was originally developed as an outerwear for golfing in the rainy United Kingdom. The G9 blouson has raglan sleeves that make it easy to move and is made of highly water-repellent fabric. And by closing the collar, called the dog-ear-collar, plays a role of wind and cold protection.
G9型ブルゾンはその起源がカジュアルですから、普通に着ればスポーティな雰囲気になるのは当然です。また、これに加えて日本では建築・土木作業に従事する方が現場でジャケット代わりに着ている光景を目にすることもあって、G9型ブルゾンはどうしても作業着のイメージが強い印象があります。
Since the origin of the G9 blouson is casual, it is natural that it will have a sporty atmosphere if worn normally. In addition, in Japan, people engaged in construction and civil engineering work sometimes see the scene wearing a sport blouson instead of a jacket on site, so the G9 type blouson and tie combinations has a strong impression of working clothes.
このようなカジュアル色の強いアウターを美しく着るためのポイントは、着用するG9型ブルゾン自体の色や素材、そして合わせるアイテムを工夫することだと考えています。
I believe that the key to beautifully wearing such a casual-outerwear is to devise the colors and materials of the blouson itself and the items to be combinated.
例えば今回取り上げたG9型ブルゾンはエレガントなグレージュカラーであり、素材も上質感のあるスエードが使われていることからも分かる通り、色や素材がラグジュアリーよりです。
For example, the G9 blouson featured this time is an elegant greige color, and as you can see from the use of high quality suede, the color and material like a luxury wear.
そして合わせるアイテムとしてシャツにはあえてドレスシャツを選び、パンツにもやや光沢感のあるカバートクロスで仕立てられたグレーのパンツをセレクトしています。エレガントな雰囲気を出したいのであれば、ベージュ系とグレー系の色のコンビネーションはおススメのカラーコーディネートです。
And as an item to combine with the G9 blouson, I chose a dress shirt for the shirt, and selected gray trousers made of covered gloss with a slightly glossy look. If you want an elegant atmosphere, a combination of beige and gray colors is the recommended color coordination.
ただし、ネクタイにはカジュアルなニットタイを選びました。シルクのネクタイはかなりドレッシーな雰囲気になってきますので、このようなスポーティなアウターとは合わせるのは難しいように感じるからです。
However, I selected a casual wool-knit tie for the tie. Silk ties are quite dressy, so I think it is difficult to match with such sporty outerwear.
カジュアルなアイテムを美しく、エレガントに見せるための工夫として、上述したようにドレッシーな色や素材のアイテムと組み合わせると言う方法があります。ただし、なんでもかんでもドレッシーな色やアイテムを合わせれば良いわけではなく、あくまでも個々のアイテムのバランス（調和）を踏まえながら、それぞれのレベルを合わせてあげることが大切だと思います。
One way to make casual items look beautiful and elegant is to combine them with items of dressy colors and materials as described above. However, it is not enough to match dressy colors and items in everything, but it is important to match each item’s dress level while checking the harmony between individual ones.
