Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “Autumn Brown Gradient Style”. And in this article, I consider about the fun of seasonal color coordination.

・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、10月下旬の装い。この日は気持ちよく晴れており、最低気温は10度を下回りましたが、最高気温は17度以上まで上がりました。よって日中はとても過ごしやすい1日でした。
I’ll introduce the attire of end October 2022. The day was pleasantly sunny, with the minimum temperature reaching around 10 degrees Celsius, but the maximum temperature rose to over 17 degrees. Therefore, it was a very comfortable day during the day.
また、外出の予定はなかったので、秋らしい色合いのコーディネートを楽しむことにしました。
And I didn’t plan to go out, so I decided to enjoy the seasonal color coordination.
そんな日の装いとして私が選んだのは、3rdタイプのブラウンカラーのレザージャケットに、ホワイトカラーのシャツ。そしてベージュカラーのコットンニットを着用し、ブラウンカラーの無地のニットネクタイを締めました。
In this situation, I wore 3rd type brown leather jacket and white color shirt. And I matched a beige-colored cotton knit and a plain brown knit tie.
これにベージュカラーのコットンチノパンツを穿き、靴にはブラウンのUチップのヌバックレザーシューズを選んでいます。
I also wore beige colored cotton chinos, and selected brown U-tip nubuck leather shoes.
・あとがき/ Consideration
春と秋は、装う上ではやや難しい季節だと感じています。春はまだ寒さが残るものの、季節を考えると起毛したような、ビジュアル的に冬らしさを感じるアイテムは使いにくく、また秋は朝晩の寒暖差がある上、日中は温かいので、同じく冬っぽい、季節感のあるアイテムを用いることにためらいを感じます。
I feel that spring and autumn are somewhat difficult seasons to coordinate items. This is because, although it is still cold in spring, it is difficult to use items that visually feel winter, like brushed when considering the season, and in autumn, there is a temperature difference between morning and evening, and it is warm during the day, so I feel hesitant to use items that are winter-seasonal feel.
このような中で私が秋の装いとして意識していることは、素材ではなく、色で季節感を表現することです。
In this situation, what I am conscious of as an autumn attire is to express the sense of the season not through materials, but through colors.
今回はブラウンとベージュのグラデーションを用いて、秋らしい季節感を表現している一方で、素材はレザーやコットンなど、通年使える素材で、特定の季節を感じさせるものは使用していません。
This attire, a gradation of brown and beige was used to express a sense of the autumnal season. On the other hands the materials were leather and cotton, which could be used all year round, and did not use materials that make you feel a specific season.
色は視覚的な印象を左右する最も大きな要素の１つだと考えています。素材で季節感を表現するのが難しい際には、色を上手く用いて対応することで、装う楽しみを感じられると思います。季節感のある素材を使いにくい季節である春や秋は、是非、色で楽しんでみてはいかがでしょうか。
I believe that color is one of the most important factors that affect visual impressions. When it is difficult to express a sense of the season with materials, I think that by using colors well, you can feel the fun of wearing them. In spring and autumn, when it is difficult to use seasonal materials, why not enjoy them with colors?
