今日は「ブルーストライプ柄シャツの着こなし方」と言うテーマを掲げて、「Style Book」コンテンツのドレス編の記事をお送りしたいと思います。
Today, I would like to write an article with the theme of “How to wear a navy blue striped shirt” And in this article, I consider about the way to wear a shaded stripe shirt.
・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、2月下旬の装い。この日は1日を通して曇っており、また最高気温は10度程度と肌寒さを感じる日でした。
I’ll introduce the attire of Late-February 2020. This day was cloudy throughout the day, and the maximum temperature was around 10 ° C, which felt chilly.
この日は打ち合わせがありましたが、全て社内メンバーが相手だったので服装に対する制約を意識する必要はありませんでした。
I had a meeting on this day, but I didn’t need to be aware of the restrictions on attire because all of our members were internal members.
そんな日の装いとして私が選んだのは、ダークネイビーのホップサックジャケットに、ブルーのストライプ柄ドレスシャツ。そしてダークネイビーのフランネルネクタイを締め、ネイビーのニットジレをインナーに着用しました。
In this situation, I chose a dark navy hopsack jacket and navy blue striped dress shirt. And I tied a dark navy flannel tie and wore a navy knit gilet as the inner.
また、ピンチェックにチェック柄が入るグレーのウールパンツを穿き、靴にはブラックのタッセルローファーを選んでいます。
Also, I wore gray wool trousers with a windowpane check pattern on the pin check, and I choose black tassel loafers for shoes.
・あとがき/ Consideration
以前「9.ドレスかカジュアルか？の判断基準」と言う記事において解説しましたが、柄のドレス度を判断する基準の1つとして「柄が薄いほどドレス度が高く、柄が濃く（ハッキリしたもの）なるほどカジュアル度が増す」と言う基準を挙げていました。
As explained earlier in the article titled “9.Judgment criteria for Dress or Casual“, one of the criteria for judging the degree of dress of a pattern was that “The thinner the pattern, more dressy, and the stronger the pattern (clearer), the more casual”.
その基準に照らし合わせると、今回用いたネイビーブルーのストライプ柄のシャツは色の濃淡がはっきりとしたストライプ柄なので、ややカジュアルになります。
Based on that standard, the navy blue striped shirt used this time is a slightly casual because the pattern is clear.
私が色の濃淡が明確なストライプ柄のシャツを用いる際には、装い全体のバランスを取ることを目的として、他のアイテムにカジュアルな要素を取り入れることが多いです。
When I select striped shirts with distinct shades of color, I often incorporate casual elements into other items in order to balance the overall attire.
例えば今回はダークネイビーの無地のホップサックジャケットを用いているのですが、このジャケットは袖山が盛り上がっていたり、ゴージラインが非常に高く、またラペルの表情やラペルロール等が特徴的だったりします。つまり、クラシックではなく、モードなデザイン的特徴を有していますので、カジュアルな位置づけのジャケットです。
For example, this time I selected a simple plain hopsack jacket of dark navy, but this jacket has a bulging sleeve cap, a very high gorge line, and characteristic a lapel silhouette and lapel roll. In other words, it has a mode design feature, not a classic. So the jacket is positioned as bit casual.
更に、パンツにもチェック柄のものを用いていることからも分かるように、ドレスよりの色を用いながらもカジュアルなデザイン、柄のアイテムを取り入れることで、シャツの持つカジュアルさが目立ち過ぎないように意識したコーディネートになっています。
In addition, as you can see that the trousers have check pattern and by using items with a casual design and pattern while using dress color, it become a coordination so that the casualness of the shirt is not too noticeable.
色と言う観点で考えた場合、ストライプ柄の中でもシャドーストライプやサックスカラーのストライプであればクラシックでドレッシーなスタイルに向いていると考えています。しかし色の濃いストライプ柄の場合は、装いにあえて遊びの要素を取り入れることが装い全体のバランスを取ることに寄与すると感じています。
Thinking in terms of color, among the stripe patterns, shadow stripes or sax-colored stripes are suitable for a classic and dressy style. However, in the case of using dark stripes, I feel that the intention of incorporating elements of casualness into the attire will help balance the overall attire.
