・TPOと装い/Situation and Attire
本日ご紹介するのは、2月下旬の装い。この日の最高気温は12度程度でしたが、晴れており、風がなかったので寒さを感じることはありませんでした。
I’ll introduce the attire of late February 2020. The highest temperature on this day was about 12 degrees, but it was sunny and there was no wind so I didn’t feel cold.
金曜日で外出等の予定の無い日には、普段は出来ないような装いを楽しむことがあります。この日はそれに加えて風が無い1日でしたので、ニットアイテムを使ったタイドアップスタイリングにチャレンジしてみました。
On Fridays when I’m not planning to meetings, I often enjoy dressing that I could not normally do. In addition to that, it was a windless day, so I tried tying up styling using knit items. Knit can not prevent wind, so it is one of the items I want to use on a windless day.
そんな日の装いとして私が選んだのは、ベージュカラーのカシミアショールカラーカーディガンに、ホワイトカラーの無地のオックスフォードシャツ。そしてブラウンのウールニットジレをインナーに入れ、ダークベージュのコットンニットネクタイを締めました。
In this situation, I chose a beige cashmere shawl collar cardigan and a plain white oxford shirt. And I put a brown wool knit gilet in the inner and tied a dark beige cotton knit-tie.
また、グレーベースのウール×カシミアのチェック柄パンツを穿き、靴にはダークブラウンのスエードローファーを選んでいます。
I also wore gray-based wool and cashmere checked trousers, and selected dark brown suede loafers for my shoes.
・あとがき/ Consideration
以前「エレガントなリラックスウェアとしてのショールカラーカーディガン」と言う記事において、本日取り上げたショールカラーカーディガンと同じ物を用いたカジュアルスタイルをご紹介していました。
Earlier, in an article titled “Shawl collar cardigan as elegant relax wear“, I introduced a casual style that uses the same shawl collar cardigan that was featured today.
その記事にも記載しましたが、ショールカラーカーディガンはカジュアルなアイテムです。それでもタキシードと言うドレスウェアと同じショールカラーがデザインとして取り入れられていることから、エレガントに装うことも出来るのがショールカラーカーディガンだと思っています。
As mentioned in that article, the shawl collar cardigan is a casual item. Nevertheless, because the same shawl collar as the tuxedo is incorporated into the design, I think that a shawl collar cardigan can be dressed elegantly.
もちろん外部の方とのミィーティングなどの場には向いていない装いですが、社内で1日中作業をするような日であれば伸縮性のあるニットなので動きやすいですし、更にタイドアップスタイルでも違和感なく装うことが出来るのではないでしょうか。
Of course, it’s not suitable item for meetings with outsiders. However, it is easy to move because it is a stretchy knit, therefore it good for on days when I work in the company all day long. And I think that I can wear it even with a tie-up style without discomfort.
この日はカジュアルなコットンのニットタイ、チェック柄のパンツと合わせることで、ショールカラーカーディガンの持つ柔らかい雰囲気を壊さないようなコーディネートを心がけました。
On this day, I wore it with casual cotton knit-tie and checked trousers to keep in mind the shawl collar cardigans soft atmosphere is not compromised.
なお、今回用いたコットンのニットタイは、ウールのニットタイに比べると表情がクリアになります。ショールカラーカーディガンのようなローゲージのニットにネクタイを合わせる際には、あまり起毛感が強くないものを選ぶ方が、野暮ったくならない気がしています。
The cotton knit-tie used this time has a clearer face than the wool knit-tie. When matching a tie to a low-gauge knit like a shawl color cardigan, I feel that it is better to choose one that does not have a strong brushed.
カジュアルなアイテムの持つ雰囲気を活かした装いをするのか、それともドレッシーな装いをするのかは、組み合わせるアイテム次第でコントロールすることが可能です。自らの装いの目的を踏まえた上で、組み合わせるアイテムを注意深く選んでみてはいかがでしょうか。
